1. Scope and store identity
This policy describes information handled through horizonmolecular.com and communications with Horizon Molecular, the store’s trading name. Privacy questions can be sent to support@horizonmolecular.com. The registered legal operator and business address will be published before commercial ordering opens.
The catalog is in prelaunch preview. Commercial checkout is disabled. The BPC-157 test flow requests no card, customer name, email or shipping address.
2. Information handled now
- Browsing and technical information: our hosting, network and security services may process IP addresses, browser or device details, requested URLs, timestamps, error information and security events to deliver and protect the website.
- Cart selections: compound names, vial sizes, quantities and display prices are saved in your browser so the cart can persist between visits.
- Test checkout records: the database stores a random attempt identifier, test order number, fixed BPC-157 test selection, sample subtotal, $0 total and timestamps. Records contain fixed test labels instead of your contact or delivery details. Reusing an attempt identifier returns the same record.
- Support communications: if you email us, we receive your email address and whatever message or attachments you choose to send. We use those details to respond and handle your request.
- Authorized operations accounts: staff account identifiers, contact details supplied at registration, authentication records and access permissions are used to secure the back office. These are separate from public catalog browsing.
Please do not send card numbers, passwords, government identifiers, medical histories or other unnecessary sensitive information through support email. The store is not a healthcare service and does not request medical information.
3. Purposes and future ordering
We use current information to serve the catalog, remember your cart, test the checkout, authenticate authorized staff, answer questions, investigate errors and prevent abuse. Where a legal basis is required, processing depends on the activity—for example, responding to your requested service, our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site, or compliance with legal obligations.
Before paid ordering is enabled, this policy will be updated to identify the active payment and fulfillment arrangements and explain collection of customer, delivery and order information. The current demo does not process a payment, create a customer profile or send an order email.
The storefront currently has no newsletter signup or promotional messaging enrollment. Contacting support or completing a demo is not consent to a marketing subscription.
4. Cookies and browser storage
The storefront uses local storage for the cart. Product and checkout pages ask for a 21-or-older confirmation. The confirmation is stored in session storage; choosing “Remember on this device” also stores it locally for up to 30 days. We collect no birth date or identity document through this prompt. It is self-attestation, not an identity verification service. The welcome offer displays a code without collecting an email address or enrolling you in marketing. Authentication may use functional browser storage or cookies for authorized operations accounts. Our network providers may use necessary security cookies where their protection features require them.
The storefront does not currently embed advertising pixels or run a cross-site advertising campaign. If optional analytics or advertising tools are added, the policy and any required consent or opt-out controls will be updated before their use.
You can clear site storage and cookies through your browser settings. Clearing storage removes your saved cart and may sign you out; it does not automatically remove a test record or information already sent to support.
5. Providers and disclosures
Cloudflare provides network and security services, Vercel hosts the website, and Convex provides application data storage and authentication infrastructure. These providers process information needed for their services under their applicable arrangements and policies. Your chosen email service and the service receiving support email also process communications you send.
We do not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose necessary information to service providers supporting the site, professional advisers handling a specific issue, or authorities when required by law. We may also use or disclose information when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect rights or respond to a security incident, subject to applicable law.
Provider processing may take place outside your location. Where applicable law requires a safeguard for an international transfer, the relevant processing must use an appropriate lawful mechanism. Contact us for information about a particular transfer; this policy does not claim an unverified hosting region.
6. Retention and protection
Retention depends on the purpose and type of record. Browser cart data remains until cleared or replaced. Test records are kept for evaluation and troubleshooting rather than sales accounting. Support and account records are retained as needed to resolve requests, manage access, protect the service and meet applicable obligations. We review requests to remove information and any reason it must be retained.
We use HTTPS, restricted back-office access and managed infrastructure to help protect information. No online transmission or storage method can guarantee complete security. If an incident requires notice under applicable law, we will provide the required notice.
7. Requests and choices
Depending on the laws that apply, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; or withdraw consent when processing relies on consent. These rights may have exceptions. You may also be entitled to complain to the relevant privacy authority.
Send a request to support@horizonmolecular.com describing what you want us to review. Include the contact email used with us or the test order number when relevant. We may ask for proportionate verification to protect information from unauthorized disclosure. Do not send sensitive identity documents unless we arrange an appropriate process.
We will assess the request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. If information must be retained or a request cannot be fulfilled, we will explain the applicable reason. Browser settings can be used to manage local storage independently.
8. Children and external links
The store is intended for adult laboratory researchers and is not directed to people under 21. If you believe a child has supplied personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
External laboratory reports, websites or services are subject to their own practices. Review the relevant provider’s policy when following an external link.
9. Updates and contact
Material changes to information handling will be reflected in this policy’s date and accompanied by any additional notice or choice required by law. This edition describes the current prelaunch site; it will be revised before commercial payments, fulfillment or new optional tracking are activated.
